Ultrasonic GE Reference Standards or Equal Sources Sought

Sources Sought Synopsis

This market survey is being conducted by Tinker Air Force Base, OK, to identify potential sources capable of providing Ultrasonic GE Reference Standards or Equal. The government intends to procure these items for use by United States Air Force (USAF) personnel at the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC).

The specific items requested are:

• One (1) FBH Calibration Set (.060”-1.500”) (set of 8) P/N 4013316-417 or Equal. Equal items require approval documentation by CFM International (CFMI).
• One (1) Standard (381 Kit) P/N SGP-044 or Equal. Equal items require approval documentation by CFM International (CFMI).
• One (1) P/N SGP-177 DAC Reference Block (Annual System Certification per SPM 70-32-85 or SPM 70-35-13). This item does not need to be ordered through GE.

Interested parties should review the provided "Item Description" and "Contractor Capability Survey." To participate in the market research, companies must submit documentation supporting their capability to meet these requirements. Failure to provide adequate documentation may hinder the government's assessment. Companies lacking experience in certain areas should explain how they would overcome this (e.g., teaming, subcontracting). Information on areas suitable for Small Business set-aside is also requested.

This is a market research effort, not a solicitation. Participation does not guarantee future solicitation or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with this survey.

Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. Companies should indicate their business size and type (Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) Certified, HUBZone Certified, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Small Business).
