Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide underbridge inspection services for three (3) separate dam service bridges using an underbridge inspection truck in Calendar Year 2026.

• Provide an underbridge inspection truck, a qualified driver, and a qualified operator.

• The truck must be truck-mounted with three or more articulations in the boom, capable of reaching under a structure while parked on the bridge.

• The vehicle must have a rotating turret for maximum flexibility, outriggers with wheels, and a bucket capacity for two inspectors and one operator.

• Bucket operation capability from the bucket is required.

• The contractor personnel will work with Wilmington District personnel to inspect the bridges.

• B. Everett Jordan Dam Service Bridge: Chatham County, NC. Steel girder and floorbeam system, concrete slab deck, 1 span, 128' length, 1 lane, 14' total width.

• Falls Lake Dam Service Bridge: Wake County, NC. Steel girder and floorbeam system, concrete slab deck, 1 span, 122' length, 1 lane, 14' total width.

• Island Creek Dam Pump Station Service Bridge: Mecklenburg County, VA. Concrete girder, concrete slab deck, 2 spans, 50' length, 1 lane, 15'4" total width.

• Inspections to be conducted during three days between July 2026 and September 2026.

• Weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

• Actual dates to be determined at least 2 weeks prior to inspection.

Antiterrorism (AT) Level I training, suspicious activity reporting training, and E-Verify program compliance are required.

• Coordination: On-site presence of Wilmington District bridge inspectors. Safety briefings will be held. A "stop-work order" may be issued for safety conditions.

• Weather Delays: Procedures for discussing time missed and potential contract extensions due to unusually severe weather.
