Scope of Work

The requirement is for two (2) Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and associated accessories. These ROVs will be utilized for conducting underwater inspections, maintenance support, and search and recovery operations on naval vessels and associated infrastructure, particularly in hazardous and confined environments. Portability for pier-side operations and deployment from small boats is a key feature.

Key Technical Minimums for ROV System:

  • Depth Rating: Minimum 280 Meters (approx. 1,000 ft).
  • Camera System: Ultra-HD 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution with at least +/- 30 degrees mechanical tilt.
  • Lighting: Integrated LED system, minimum 3,000 Lumens with adjustable dimming.
  • Manipulator Arm: Electric modular arm, minimum 2kg lift capacity, 600N closing force, with interchangeable Quad Jaws and Soft Jaws.
  • Tether System: High-strength, neutral/slightly positive buoyancy, minimum 130m length.
  • Sensors: Integrated IMU (Gyro/Accelerometer), Depth Sensor, Water Temperature Sensor.
  • Portability: Man-portable (excluding tether), housed in a ruggedized, waterproof transport case.
  • Battery: 4 Standard Batteries.
  • Warranty: One year extended warranty with a one-year option.
  • Item Identification: DFARS 252.211-7003 is applicable.
