Scope of Work
This solicitation covers two primary areas:
- Bollard Systems: Procurement and delivery of 45 new, 6" diameter x 48" tall (above ground) solid Schedule 40 steel, yellow powder-coated removable bollards. Each system must include compatible embedment sleeves and covers. Bollards must have a mechanism to lock into the ground when inserted into the sleeve (mechanical lock excluded). Compliance with the Buy America Act is required. Delivery must occur within two (2) calendar months of contract award to USCG Base Ketchikan, AK.
- Garage Door Services: Inspection, adjustment, and repair/replacement of the garage door and operator at the USCG Base Ketchikan Small Boat Station Boathouse. This includes assessing tracks, motor, springs, and electronics, addressing historical issues, and ensuring proper structural support and operational reliability. Contractors may propose and install a different, fully functional system. The period of performance is 90 days from contract award.

Evaluation & Submission
Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable/qualified contractor. Quotes/proposals must include all shipping costs to the required location (FOB DESTINATION ONLY) and provide a separate breakdown of material and shipping costs for the bollard systems. Contractors performing garage door services must be licensed and factory authorized for relevant equipment and provide a 45ft aerial work platform. Invoicing will be processed electronically via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
