The primary objective is to maintain mission-ready network devices and ensure maximum uptime in the Datacenter by replacing an outdated and unserviceable UPS and its associated cooling system. The scope of work includes:

  • Capture existing cooling fluid, demo existing piping, and run new Pex piping to in-row coolers.
  • Furnish and install a new 350A Shunt Trip Breaker, intercepting the existing feeder.
  • Demo and dispose of the existing UPS, then install new power modules and battery cabinets.
  • Specifically, remove and replace eight (8) Chilled Water In-Row Cooling Units and replace one (1) PX80 UPS with a new PX 100KW Frame (de-rated to 80KW) 208V, 4-Wire Modular UPS, including 12 rows of batteries for 18-minute runtime. "Brand Name (APC) or Equal" components are specified.
