This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure services for the installation of ultraviolet (UV) disinfection units and a sand filtration system in the waste seawater treatment plant at the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute (TSMRI) in Juneau, Alaska. The project aims to replace an outdated ozone treatment system.

• Provide non-personal services for the installation of a UV filtration system.

• Work must be in conformance with applicable state laws, regulations, codes, and the ADEC permit.

• The contractor shall furnish all equipment, personnel, tools, materials, and supervision necessary, except for the UV disinfection units, sand filter, and flow meters, which will be supplied by the government.

• Evaluation Factors: The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Non-Price Technical Solution (Technical Approach and Past Performance) will be significantly more important than price. The evaluation will consider:

• The Government intends to award a trade-off, single firm fixed-price purchase order on an all or none basis with payment terms of Net 30.

• Small Business Size Standard: $19.0m in average annual receipts or less.
