• Additional Requirement for Non-OEM/Authorized Distributor Suppliers:

  • Clear and unbroken traceability to the OEM or Authorized Distributor.
  • Copies of the original CoC from the OEM or Authorized Distributor.
  • Packing slips, invoices, or material certifications linking back to the authorized source.

Suppliers must ensure that each shipment is accompanied by a valid and readily identifiable CoC containing all specified information. Failure to comply may result in shipment rejection, delayed payments, or removal from the Qualified Supplier List. This document is critical for bidders to understand the quality assurance and documentation requirements for fulfilling any awarded contract.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To fabricate and deliver test hardware components for the Upper Wing and Elevon Heater Carriages, which are part of an upcoming ground test effort at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC).

• Fabrication and delivery of specific components for the Upper Wing and Elevon Heater Carriages as detailed in provided design drawings.

• The work involves manufacturing various parts including I-BEAM ASSY, C-CHANNELS, CARRIAGE FRAMES, ACTUATOR MOUNTS, LINKAGES, and more.

• Maximum of 12 weeks after contract award for fabrication and delivery. Earlier completion is desirable.

• Delivery Address: NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Lilly Ave, Edwards, CA 93524.

• Contractors must provide a manufacturing process plan for the Upper Elevon Heater Carriage components.

• Contractors must provide a quality plan for ensuring dimensional tolerances.

• Contractors must inform NASA one week in advance of hardware delivery to coordinate logistics.

• The contractor shall document and provide NASA information regarding any requested changes or modifications to drawings/models during fabrication.

• No Government furnished property will be provided.

• NASA AFRC is supplying the drawings for the components.

• Fabrication status updates are required via email to the Technical POC every three weeks.
