Scope of Work

- Pumping and placing approximately 364,000 cubic yards of sand from an offshore borrow area (2.6 miles south of Cape May Inlet jetties) onto two beach locations:
- Area 1: US Coast Guard Training Center (approx. 330,000 CY).
- Area 2: Wilmington Ave (approx. 34,000 CY). Options for additional sand placement from the same borrow area to achieve the full project design template are also included, totaling several hundred thousand additional cubic yards for Area 1 and Area 2. Sand must originate from the offshore borrow area; trucking is not permitted.
