The contract may include 4-6 separate options for additional beachfill, ranging from 50,000 to 400,000 cubic yards in Avalon and 50,000 to 250,000 cubic yards in Stone Harbor. Work may also include planting dune grass and installing sand fencing. Beachfill material must come from authorized borrow areas in Townsends Inlet and Hereford Inlet. Construction is to be completed no later than July 1, 2026.
