The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) St. Paul District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to unload dredge material from Corps Island in Pool 3 in the Mississippi River. Projected work includes removing an estimated 400,000 cubic yards of dredge material to a contractor provided placement site. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 for contract. The appropriate NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract. This solicitation shall be a Total Small Business set-aside with a small business size standard of $45,000,000. The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This is a pre-solicitation notice, and as such, any additional information as to the size and/or scope of the project will not be available until the issuance of the IFB.
