Scope of Work
The requirement covers comprehensive maintenance for static display aircraft. Aircraft Washing:
- Removal of loose residue, bird feces, oils, and debris.
- Cleaning of lights, signage, and surrounding areas.
- Use of high-pressure water (over 200 PSI) on B-52, T-38, and A-10 aircraft; low-pressure (175-200 PSI) on others.
- Application of liquid wax for protection.
- Use of Arrow Magnolia CD-3340 Fleet Wash, treated with Corrosion X and aviation corrosion inhibitor.
- Services performed up to twice per year (spring and fall). Aircraft Painting:
- Comprehensive exterior restoration, including stripping, debris removal, structural repairs, and bird-proofing.
- Compliance with USAF Technical Orders 1-1-8 and 1-1-4, and FAA Advisory Circular 43.13-1B.
- Application of primer and high-grade 2K high-solids urethane coatings (e.g., PPG AUE-360/AUE-3501).
- Adherence to Federal Standard 595 for paint schemes, decals, and markings.
- Workmanship guaranteed for three years against weathering.
