Scope of Work
This requirement is for a comprehensive, two-day medical readiness training program meticulously designed to equip Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) with the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve and maintain optimal readiness for all-hazards emergencies. The training's primary objective is to sustain and enhance both the Medical Contingency Response Plan and HSMR capabilities within the MTFs, in full compliance with stringent regulatory and procedural guidelines (DHA 6055.02, DoDI 6200.03, AFI 10-2501, AFI 10-2519, AFI 41-106, and AFTTP 3-42.32). Key elements include:
- Enhancing performance assessment capabilities through the comprehensive implementation and reinforcement of Response Training and Assessment Program (RTAP) tools.
- Providing robust support to Air Force MTFs in adapting to evolving Emergency Management requirements, including HSMR, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (C-CBRN) defense, and Public Health Emergencies.
- Conducting targeted training and realistic exercise scenarios such as Mass Prophylaxis Point of Dispensing (POD), Foodborne Illness Investigation, Bioenvironmental Engineering, White Powder Response, Medical Control Center (MCC) Operations, Patient Tracking, Field Response, Disaster Mental Health, Triage, Clinical, Aircraft Mishap, Active Shooter, Evacuation, MTF Recall, Mass Warning Notification, First Receivers, C-CBRN Mass Casualty, Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planning, and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS).
