Scope of Work

The requirement is for onsite Quality Assurance (QA) support services for the procurement and installation of Utility Monitoring and Controls / Building Automation Systems / Electronic Security Systems (UMCS/BAS/ESS), primarily at USAMRIID Building 8100 in Ft. Detrick, MD. Key tasks include:

  • Furnishing management, labor, supervision, training, equipment, and materials for QA support.
  • Evaluating schedules, reviewing documentation, and coordinating daily with facility staff.
  • Performing field surveys and ensuring compliance with codes such as NFPA, BMBL, AAALAC, and CDC biosafety/biosecurity standards.
  • Providing safety oversight and implementing safety policies (OSHA, EM 385-1-1).
  • Delivering oral weekly reports and coordinating utility outages with laboratory staff.

Contractor employees must possess a minimum SECRET security clearance at the time of award and maintain it. Compliance with DoD 8570.1M (Information Assurance) and U.S. citizenship are mandatory. Personnel will require a Common Access Card (CAC).
