Scope of Work

This includes a minimum of one service visit per month, performing water sampling and analysis, inspecting pre-conditioning equipment, adding algaecides and biocides, inspecting and cleaning tower components, monitoring and replenishing corrosion inhibitor levels, and winterizing/preparing towers and condensers as requested. Specific water quality parameters (e.g., corrosion levels < 0.5 MPY, pH 9.0-10.0) must be maintained. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and engineering, and must provide evidence of being a WCTI licensed dealer or authorized to work on the system.

Submission Requirements

Quoters must submit:

1. A completed Quotation Pricing Sheet (Attachment 2) with business name and SAM UEI, providing pricing for all performance periods.
2. A typed summary addressing the technical and management approach (max 5 single-sided pages), including evidence of WCTI authorization.
3. Past performance information with three references for similar work (max 3 single-sided pages). All non-pricing responses must be submitted by the closing date. Email submissions must be in separate attachments, clearly labeled, and less than 35MB per email. The contractor is responsible for all sample collection and shipment to external laboratories.

Important Notes

An amendment provided a Q&A document clarifying that past award information will not be provided, subcontractor authorization is permissible, the WCTI system has 160 nominal tons of cooling and 800 gallons closed loop water capacity, and contractors are responsible for sample collection and shipment. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination for Cochise County, AZ, is applicable and must be factored into pricing.
