Purpose

Scope of Work

The requirement involves two primary work items:

  • Towing Services: Providing all necessary services to tow the 210' Medium Endurance Cutter from Baltimore, MD, to the contractor's designated scrapping facility along the East Coast of the Continental United States. This includes equipment, rigging, vessel preparation, pilot services, towing plans, and adherence to specific towing conditions (e.g., wind speed limits, maximum towing speed).
  • Scrapping: Complete dismantling, demilitarization, recycling, and disposal of the vessel. This includes removing and disposing of residual fluids and hazardous waste, rendering electronic equipment unusable, dismantling the vessel into transportable pieces, recycling metal and other recyclable materials, and disposing of non-recyclable materials. The contractor will assume ownership of the scrap after dismantling.
