Purpose
The USCG is conducting market research to identify potential offerors capable of providing shotguns, associated accessory equipment, and training. This requirement supports the missions of the USCG and other Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies. The RFI specifically requests submissions containing specifications and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing.
Scope of Work
The anticipated requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The scope includes the procurement of five distinct variants of commercially available, off-the-shelf (COTS) shotguns, compatible repair parts, and accessories such as magazines and suppressors. Training sessions, including armorer training and curriculum development, will also be required. All firearms and accessories must be manufactured in the United States of America, be new production, and suitable for all environmental conditions within the contiguous U.S. Shotguns must be chambered for 2.5-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge ammunition and function reliably with SAAMI Z299.2 specifications. Delivery will be FOB Destination to the USCG Small Arms Repair Facility in Crane, IN.
