USCGC Alex Haley MRG Coolers Repair

Scope of Work

• Chemically cleaning and inspecting coolers, followed by a written Condition Found Report (CFR) within 24 hours.
• Performing hydrostatic tests using clean potable water and submitting a CFR with results and a repair plan within 24 hours.
• The base requirement includes replacing up to six (6) tubes per cooler. Additional tube replacements will be authorized via contract modification after a detailed repair plan and associated costs are provided.
• Re-assembling coolers with new gaskets/rings, ensuring clean internal surfaces, and performing touch-up preservation.
• Delivering repaired coolers in suitable protective packaging, with the contractor responsible for return freight costs to Kodiak, AK.
• Disposal of all cleaning solutions and chemicals must comply with local, state, and federal hazardous waste regulations.

Special Requirements & Notes

• Base access is not required, but if needed, personnel must have valid REAL ID Act compliant government-issued identification.
