Scope of Work
This requirement involves three primary work items for the No.1 Ship Service Diesel Generator (Caterpillar 3512B, 1360 KW, 450 Volt AC, 3 Phase, 60 Hz) located in the Auxiliary Machinery Room of the CGC HAMILTON:
- Work Item 1: Perform alignment of the SSDG, requiring an OEM authorized technical representative and adherence to specific procedures (TP 7119, CAT Special Instruction REHS7485-02).
- Work Item 2: Perform commercial cleaning of the SSDG Heat Exchanger, including isolation, disassembly, cleaning with approved solvents, reassembly, and reinstallation per TP 7119, Section 11.
- Work Item 3: Conduct a load test of the SSDG, utilizing a contractor-provided 1500 kW, 1900 A, resistive load bank. This item must be completed after Work Items 1 and 2.
Coast Guard personnel will operate shipboard machinery for all tasks.
