Scope of Work
The contractor will perform dockside repairs and maintenance during the USCGC Hudson's FY2026 availability. Key tasks include:
- Main Diesel Engine (MDE) Exhaust Piping Commercial Clean: Disconnecting, cleaning interior surfaces of soot and tar, reassembling with new gaskets and fasteners, and performing inspections. This includes developing a waste disposal plan and handling interferences.
- Ship Service Diesel Generator (SSDG) Exhaust Piping Commercial Clean: Similar cleaning and reassembly tasks for the #1 and #2 SSDG exhaust systems.
- Ventilation Screens Renewal: Fabricating and installing new ventilation screen assemblies for natural supply and return fans, adhering to specified drawings and standards.
All work must meet performance standards, including surfaces free from soot and tar, compliance with Coast Guard Drawings and Standard Specifications (SFLC Std Spec 0000, 6310, 0740, 8636), and submission of a Certificate of Record (CFR) for tests and inspections.
