Specifications

• Pre-Alignment: Record existing engine markings, inspect CHOCKFAST liners, and record baseline alignment readings.

• Alignment: Position new engines, perform precision alignment using laser or dial indicators, ensure compliance with MTU and USCG tolerances, and re-install the Geislinger Coupling.

• Post-Alignment: Submit final alignment CFR, support dock and sea trials with an alignment technician, and re-verify alignment readings after sea trials.

• Deliverables: Pre-Alignment CFR, Alignment CFR, Post-Alignment CFR, and an Inspection/Verification Form.

• The contract requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, instruments, and supervision.
