Scope of Work

The objective is to remove biofilm buildup, contaminants, and foreign materials to restore the fuel tanks to designed system parameters. Key tasks include:
- Protective measures and handling interferences (fuel, piping, tank access).
- Removal and disposal of up to 250 gallons of diesel fuel and generated waste, with chain of custody documentation.
- Supporting Coast Guard personnel for refueling equipment (tagout, oil transfer supervision).
- Initial and post-repair operational tests of Tank Level Indicators (TLIs) and vent check valves.
- Thorough cleaning of tank interior surfaces, ensuring no damage to coatings.
- Visual inspection of all tank interior surfaces and completion of a "Tank and Void Assessment Form."
- Ultrasonic thickness (UT) measurements (50 per tank) and pit-depth measurements (up to 10 per tank).
- Ensuring tanks remain open for at least 24 hours post-repair and closing in the presence of a Coast Guard Inspector/EO.
