Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide parts for the USCGC HEALY Condensate dump valve replacement. Additionally, the contractor will provide technical and engineering support for mocking up and testing an upgraded TC3 throttle control system for the Isotta Frashchini V1312-MLH-KC Main Diesel Engines used by the WLR/WLIC Fleet. Key tasks include:

  • Assembling the throttle control to a shop engine and reduction gear for testing.
  • Connecting and verifying the Local Operating Panel (LOP) and gauges.
  • Adjusting the Heinzman controller with a laptop.
  • Lining up fuel and cooling systems.
  • Starting and operating the engine, and testing local and remote speed control.
  • Testing the reverse control sequence and making final adjustments.
  • Disconnecting the new throttle control and harness after satisfactory testing. The contractor must provide a certified mechanic familiar with the specified engine and control system.
