• Pit Measurement: Measure up to 10 "pits" within each tank as designated by the Coast Guard Inspector, recording measurements and depths.

• Tank Closing: Ensure tanks remain open for at least 24 hours after repairs before closing with new gasket material conforming to AMS-C-6183. Fasteners are to be checked and renewed as necessary (assume 10% renewal for bidding).

• All cleaning media and residues must be removed.

• Residual wash media and moisture must be wiped clean.

• Zinc anodes with 50% wastage or more must be renewed.

• Tank TLI's must be demonstrated to be in satisfactory operating condition post-repairs.

• A written record of all plugs used in tank vents must be maintained.

• A chain of custody record for removed tank contents and waste disposal must be submitted.
