In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) hereby announces the general categories of supplies and services which are forecasted to be procured during Fiscal Year 2026. These supplies and services may be procured multiple times throughout Fiscal Year 2026 by any Mission Area within the USDA.
This includes Contracting Activities within:
- Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC)
- Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services (FNCS)
- Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)
- Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP)
- Natural Resources and Environment (NRE)
- Research, Education, and Economics (REE)
- Rural Development (RD)
- Departmental Administration (DA)
- Trade and Agricultural Affairs (TFAA)
Acquisitions greater than $25,000 will normally be advertised on the System for Award Management (SAM) website. This notice satisfies the forty day publication requirement set forth in FAR 5.201(d) for acquisitions covered by the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement or a Free Trade Agreement.
Attachment 1, "USDA FY26 Annual Forecast" lists the Product Service Codes (PSCs) from which the USDA anticipates procuring items during Fiscal Year 2026. This information is provided as a forecast only. Actual procurement quantities, classification codes, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code, place of performance, and other applicable information will be specified in the individual Requests for Quotations, Invitations for Bids, or Requests for Proposals issued by the USDA.
