Scope of Work

The contractor will provide all labor and equipment for comprehensive grounds maintenance across approximately 6.4 acres of mowable turf/grass. Key tasks include:

  • Mowing: Including trash/debris removal and disposal of clippings.
  • Edging/Weed Eating: Vertical edging of sidewalks/curbs, and weed eating around trees, objects, and the perimeter fence (no chemical edging).
  • Blow Off: Removal of leaves and debris from porches, docks, sidewalks, and curbs.
  • Lawn Fertilization: Twice annually with a fertilizer/weed killer combination suitable for Bermuda and St. Augustine grasses.
  • Shrub & Hedge Trimming: Four times per year or as needed for neat appearance, with debris disposal. Shrubbery is limited to a ~100 linear foot bed by the main entrance, with routine trimming not explicitly required, but downed limb removal near trees is included.
  • Weeding: Includes weed eating and blowing grass/leaves from lane/parking areas, and weeding a ~0.22 acre gravel area near the main entrance.

Exclusions: The "purple hatched area" (Texas AgriLife BREC) shown in Attachment 3 is explicitly excluded from the scope. Tree trimming, insect/disease control, and sprinkler system maintenance are also excluded.
