This Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity seeks vendors capable of designing, fabricating, and installing a new legacy mural display in a Pentagon corridor. Responses are due by June 2, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time.
Purpose & Scope
This is a market research effort (FAR Part 10) to identify qualified vendors for a custom, museum-quality mural display for the NORAD & USNORTHCOM (N&NC) Washington Operations Center (WOC) at the Pentagon. The display must match the artistic quality and style of existing Combatant Command legacy corridor displays. The scope includes:
- Design: Collaboration with government representatives (Public Affairs, Historian) to develop artistic content, create electronic mock-ups, and secure government approval.
- Fabrication: Manufacturing components using high-quality, durable materials compliant with Pentagon safety requirements (Corridor Committee, Fire Marshall).
- Installation: Transporting and installing the completed mural at the Pentagon, including mounting, electrical wiring (if applicable), and site cleanup.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
The display specifications are approximately 12’6” w x 60” h x 3” d, featuring aluminum extrusion framing, a fire-rated background panel, cleat block mounting, and 3D acrylic letters "U.S. Northern Command." All designs require government approval prior to fabrication, and the display must comply with Pentagon Corridor Committee and Fire Marshall requirements. The Period of Performance is 120 days from contract award, with installation at the Pentagon (2nd Floor, Corridor 8, Arlington, VA).
