Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the thorough examination, testing, and repair of 16 Elliott 3RA1555-1, 25-man capacity inflatable liferafts. Services must strictly adhere to SOLAS and USCG requirements and be performed by USCG and ABS recognized, Manufacturer's Authorized Service Facilities. Key tasks include:
- Pick-up and delivery of liferafts from/to the MSCOK warehouse.
- Annual service, inspection, and testing of all liferafts.
- Replacement of the Painter system, Weak link, and Hydrostatic Release Unit with USCG and SOLAS approved components.
- Coordination of testing with the OMT REP, ABS, and USCG Surveyors.
- Delivery and installation of newly certified liferafts on the vessel.
- Specific testing procedures cover working-pressure leakage, inflation hose checks, inflatable floor inflation, seam inspection, survival equipment examination and replacement, battery replacement, EPIRB/SART testing, and manual inflation-pump tests.
