• The period of performance has been revised from April 20, 2026 - July 29, 2026, to April 23, 2026 - August 01, 2026.

• Additional work items are needed to comply with regulatory requirements from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and American Bureau of Shipping.

• These deficiencies were unknown prior to the start of the ship repair work and require immediate action.

• The rationale cites "unusual and compelling urgency" to avoid significant delays and financial losses to the Government, estimated at $80,073,627.00 for a 381-day delay.

• The government expects to obtain a technical data package or develop a performance specification to support future competition for similar items.
