Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) for a Mid-Term Availability (MTA), on/about 12 July 2019 for 60 days. The place of performance will be Pier Side at Naval Base San Diego, CA.
While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows:
1) Steering Gear Room Insert Repair
2) Condensate Pump and Motor Overhaul
3) DG Attached Fuel Pumps Overhaul
4) STBD Forced Draft Blower Fan Repair
5) Main Boiler Soot Blower Controller Install
6) Cable Penetration and Cable Way Grooming
7) Switch Board and Circuit Breaker Cleaning/Inspection
8) Electric Motor Repairs
9) #2 Chiller Compressor Overhaul
10) Anti-Roll Tank Vent Repairs
11) Non-Skid Deck Preservation
12) 6 STBD Ballast Tank Vent Repair
13) Boiler Burner Repairs
14) Steam Valve Overhaul
15) Circuit Breaker Service and Repair
16) AC Seawater Pump and Motor Overhauls
17) Underwater Hull Propeller, Seachest Inspection and Cleaning

This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees.
