• Exclusive Licensing Agreements: The item or service is only available from the OEM, as the material is critical ship safety equipment, and failure would impact the mission. Montreal Bronze is identified as the sole source.
• Critical Ship Equipment: The item is identified as critical ship equipment, where failure poses a hazard to the ship, crew, or environment. It is part of the ship's fire fighting system, vital for detecting and extinguishing fires.
• Form, Fit, and Function: The components are direct replacement parts that must be compatible with existing equipment to ensure the function of the fire sprinkler system across T-AKE 10-14 vessels.
