Scope of Work
The contractor will provide nonpersonal stall maintenance and cleaning services for the USPP Horse Mounted Patrol (HMP) stable located at 661 Cowles Street, San Francisco, CA 94129. Key tasks include:
- Daily cleaning of stalls, aisles, indoor turnout areas, and paddocks.
- Initial and subsequent feeding and watering of horses.
- Leading horses to turnout areas.
- Occasional PM (afternoon) stable services.
- Monitoring horses for signs of injury or illness and reporting to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The contractor is responsible for all personnel, labor, supervision, and transportation. The Government will provide tools, equipment, feed, hay, alfalfa, bedding, utilities, and exterior manure dumpsters. Services are required seven days a week, including Federal holidays, primarily between 0500 and 1100 hours.
