Scope of Work
The anticipated scope involves comprehensive repair and continuous maintenance for the USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19). Work items, known as Task Group Instructions (TGIs) and Tightness & Operational Tests (TOs), include but are not limited to:
- Replacing duct heater 2-147-2.
- Replacing Aft CHT discharge piping and associated sewage system tests.
- Modifying foundations for hot Potable Water (POTW) accumulator tanks (No. 3A/3B, No. 2A/2B, No. 1A/1B) and associated potable water system tests.
All work will be performed onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), located in Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan.

Eligibility & Competition
This acquisition is open to sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan, as per DFARS 252.225-7042. Offerors must also possess a current and active USN Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) issued by the U.S. Navy or NAVSUP FLCY. Non-MSRA/ABR holders can request an application package from flcy_msra_abr_group@us.navy.mil, but the certification process may take up to a year to complete.
