USS SHIP FY27 MID-TERM AVAILABILITY

This is a pre-solicitation notice for Mid-Term Availability (MTA) repairs of the USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC-20). The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (NAVSUP FLCSI) Detachment Naples intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for these services. This notice is for informational purposes and market research; it is not a solicitation, and proposals will not be accepted at this time.

The MTA includes alterations, repairs, and critical maintenance across various series, including:

• General Services and Requirements

• Hull and Structural

• Propulsion Machinery

• Electrical

• Communication and Navigation

• Auxiliary Machinery

• Habitability Outfitting and Furnishings

• Sponsor Related

• Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)

• Propeller Clean and Polish / Hull Inspection Draft work items will be provided in an update. All repair works must be accomplished at a pier-side facility.

• Period of Performance: January 12, 2027, through March 13, 2027.

• Location Restriction: The contractor's facility must be located in the Mediterranean basin or the European Atlantic Ocean coastline (including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, and Portugal). The facility must be in a country with an International Agreement with the U.S. or approved via an exception to policy.

• RFP Release: Estimated by the end of June/beginning of July 2026.

• RFP Advertisement: Will be posted on SAM.gov (RFP N6817126RN006).

• Notice of Interest Due Date: June 12, 2026. Interested parties must submit a response via email to the points of contact listed below.

• Response Requirements: Company Name, address, phone number; Primary Point of Contact (name, phone, email); and a one-page summary demonstrating ability to meet objectives.
