NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
The Air Force District Washington (AFDW)/PKF intends to award a Sole Source contract to Recruitmilitary, Inc., 3012 River Reach, Williamsburg, Virginia, 23185-7544. The United States Space Force (USSF) aims to expand its outreach efforts to military veterans, including transitioning service members, those soon to be separated, and their families, encouraging them to pursue current and future employment opportunities with the USSF. See attached Sole Source Justification (SSJ).
AFDW/PKF will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.
The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting Competition, which states: For purchases not the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).
The proposed contract action is Sole Source only.
In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
