Quick Summary

The Indian Health Service (IHS) at Lawton Indian Hospital, OK, is conducting a Sources Sought to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of providing a new Utility Task Vehicle (UTV). This notice aims to gather information for a potential procurement under the Buy Indian Act. Responses are due by May 19, 2026, 1:00 PM CST.

Purpose & Scope

The Lawton Indian Hospital requires a new UTV to replace an outdated and inefficient model that incurs high maintenance costs. The new UTV is critical for operational needs, including the delivery of packages, medical supplies, and property equipment across the hospital campus, navigating various terrains. The government is seeking a UTV with specifications similar to a Bobcat model UV34, featuring:

  • A 1000 cc Gasoline Engine.
  • EPS Cab and Heat package.
  • Safety and operational accessories: Fire Extinguisher Bracket, Rear View Mirror (Wide Angle), Side View Mirrors (Door-Mounted), Turn Signal, Back-up Alarm, Strobe Light, Grab Handle, Clear Poly Front Doors, Sliding Glass Rear Panel, Wiper & Washer for Windshield, Eyelet Tie-Downs on Rack, Horn, LED Light Bar, and All-terrain tires.
  • A cargo capacity of 1250 lbs. The UTV must be new and ready to operate upon delivery. The contractor will also be required to provide an online resource for training and initial use, with delivery expected within 90 days of award.
