Quick Summary
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), under the Department of the Navy, has issued an Advance Notice/Sources Sought for Combat Weapon System Technology and Engineering Support. This is a follow-on requirement for the Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) Department (V) at Dahlgren, VA. The government contemplates a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort Task Order for SeaPort MAC IDIQ holders. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. Interested firms must submit capability statements by May 1, 2026.
Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks technical and engineering expertise to support systems engineering, analyses, and planning for current and future naval surface combat and warfare systems. Key areas include combat system engineering, certification, test and evaluation, mission/force/System-of-Systems analysis, interoperability engineering, and human system integration. The scope also covers the definition, design, modernization, and sustainment of these systems, with an emphasis on Digital Systems Engineering Transformation (DSET) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Specific tasks involve operations analysis, lifecycle analysis, and specialized support for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), AEGIS Ashore, and Surface Ship Pointing & Fire Cutout (P&FCO). Personnel may require TOP SECRET security clearances and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
