Quick Summary

The Peace Corps, through the Department of the Interior's IBC ACQ SVCS DIRECTORATE, has issued a Special Notice titled "Peace Corps Travel Management Consolidation." This notice is a Determination and Findings (D&F) for the consolidation of Travel Management Services, including travel agent and passport/visa services, into a single contract. The goal is to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and enhance service delivery for over 7,000 Peace Corps travelers. Eligibility / Set-Aside

Market research indicates that while small businesses exist in the travel agent sector, the complexity and global reach required by the Peace Corps necessitate capabilities often found in large businesses or large businesses teamed with small businesses. The consolidation is not expected to negatively impact small business opportunities and may even improve them through teaming agreements. Previous solicitations for these services did not receive significant small business participation. No specific set-aside is declared for the future consolidated solicitation at this D&F stage.

Submission & Evaluation

This document is a Determination and Findings for consolidation, not a solicitation. Specific submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be detailed in the forthcoming solicitation.
