Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide hotel services (lodging) for Veterans receiving treatment at the Amarillo VA Health Care System. Key requirements include:

- Capacity: Up to five (5) rooms, five (5) days per week (Sunday through Thursday) for 52 weeks, including holidays. Five rooms must be readily available weekly.
- Room Features: Full/queen bed(s), ADA accessible rooms (two specifically for electric chair users), refrigerator, microwave. Complimentary daily linen changes, basic toiletries, and towels.
- Amenities: Rooms in a reasonably quiet location, allowing spouses/significant others/caregivers at no additional cost. Within walking distance of a restaurant, with menus provided. Food delivery must be allowed.
- Utilities: Contractor to supply all utilities (heat, AC, electricity, water, sewer, local telephone, basic cable).
- Reservation Process: The VA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Delegate will contact the contractor daily by 10:30 AM to reserve rooms. Unoccupied rooms are released by 7:00 PM unless a late arrival is notified.
- Compliance: Adherence to all city, county, and state hotel/motel codes, OSHA standards, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (must be listed on USFA Hotel and Motel Master).
