Statement of Objective (SOO)

This document outlines the requirements for procuring one hundred thirteen (113) hitch-mounted cargo platforms for the Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) 3-116th Mobile Brigade Combat Team (MBCT). The goal is to extend the carrying capacity of the unit's new Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISV).

• Corrosion Resistance: Powder-coated black, compliant with MIL-PRF-24712A or an equivalent commercial standard.

• 750 lbs minimum weight capacity.

• 30" W x 60" L minimum platform dimensions.

• Solid steel, upward-folding platform.

• Delivery Schedule: All 113 units must be delivered no later than 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).

• Acceptance Criteria: Verification of all technical requirements and salient characteristics. Non-conforming units will be rejected at the vendor's expense and require replacement.
