Scope of Work

• Quality Assurance: Adherence to HIGHER-LEVEL CONTRACT QUALITY REQUIREMENT (MIL-I-45208) and an acceptable inspection system. Quality requirements are detailed in the Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD).
• Technical Documentation: Mandatory review of the Material IRPOD. Technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and Standard Technical Requirements (STRs), are available at HTTPS://LOGISTICS.UNNPP.GOV/ECOMMERCE (requires pre-registration).
• Order of Precedence: In case of conflict, amendments take precedence, followed by the schedule, terms, IRPOD/Master Procurement Specification, STRs, drawings, and specifications.
• Vendor Waivers/Deviations: Requests for non-compliance or delivery extensions must be justified and submitted for approval, demonstrating no impact on quality, form, fit, or function.
• Mercury Exclusion: No mercury or mercury-containing compounds are to be intentionally added or come into direct contact with hardware.
• Packaging: Compliance with MIL-PRF-23199, MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags, and cleanliness controls (e.g., MIL-STD-767, MIL-STD-2041). MIL-STD 2073 packaging applies, and fire retardant packaging is no longer required. Packaging labels must be marked with IRPOD nomenclature.

Submission Requirements

• Procedure Package: Submit one package (IAW DI-QCIC-8871) of all applicable procedures, drawings, and pre-manufacturing submittals listed in the IRPOD within 45 days after contract award to the Contracting Officer (NAVSUP-WSS code N9433).
• Test Reports: Submit a complete package (IAW DI-QCIC-8872A) of vendor-certified test reports covered in MIL-DTL-24244 at the End of Contract (EOC) to NAVSUP-WSS CODE N9433. One copy of the test report must be packed with each individual piece.
• Electronic Submission: Quotes can be submitted via email or NECO. Contractual documents will be issued electronically.
• DD Form 1423: Detailed instructions are provided for the preparation and submission of data items, including distribution statements and pricing groups.
