Scope of Work

This Request for Quotations (RFQ) seeks services including teardown, evaluation, repair, and/or modification of the specified globe valves. Key requirements include:

  • Packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073.
  • Marking in accordance with MIL-STD-130.
  • Maintenance of configuration control.
  • Prohibition of intentionally added mercury or mercury-containing compounds in direct contact with hardware.
  • Identification of hazardous materials and provision of Material Safety Data.
  • Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) Repairables Portal (CAV RP) reporting. The contractor will have 90 days after receipt of the carcass to complete teardown & evaluation (TD&E) and submit a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) quote for the full repair effort. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the Government for all assets within the Requested Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) of 365 days.
