Submission Requirements & Key Conditions
Offerors must provide a quote including:
- Unit Price and Total Price.
- Proposed Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) in days. If not meeting the 180-day government requirement, capacity constraints must be explained.
- Proposed price reduction amount per unit/per month for unexcusable delays in meeting RTAT, up to a maximum amount.
- Indication of Firm-fixed-Price, Estimated, or NTE for the contract type.
- Testing & Evaluation (T&E) fee/price if an asset is determined Beyond Repair (BR/BER), including a Not-to-Exceed (NTE) amount and computation basis.
- Awardee CAGE, Inspection & Acceptance CAGE, and Facility/Subcontractor CAGE.
- New unit price and delivery lead-time for comparison. Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required. Freight is FOB Origin and handled by Navy CAV or Proxy CAV. Accelerated delivery is encouraged.
Additional Notes
Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements and maintaining records for 365 days. Changes in design or part numbers require PCO approval, except for identical part number changes. Applicable documents must be obtained by the contractor, with ordering information provided.
