Key Requirements & Notes

• Critical Safety Items (CSI): DFARS clause 252.209-7010, Identification of Critical Safety Items, is incorporated by reference.
• Contractor Business Systems: DFARS clause 252.242-7005 is incorporated by reference, as applicable.
• P-8/P-3 Platform Commercial Items: For these items, current FAA certification documentation (FAA Form 8130-3 Air Worthiness Approval Tag) must accompany individual products.
• New Unused Stock from OEM: Offers from sources not government-approved will be deemed technically unacceptable. Distributors of approved sources MUST submit a copy of their authorized distributor letter to the buyer via email at the time of proposal submittal.
• Item Unique Identification (IUID) Exemption: NAVSUP WSS Code N2 has determined that DFARS 211.274 (IUID) is deleted from all non-CLSSA FMS spares requirements processed by NAVSUP WSS and DLA-Aviation. This is because these parts are wholly owned by FMS customer countries, not covered by CLSSA, and will never be delivered to or owned by the U.S. Government or entered into the DoD supply chain.
