Scope of Work
The contractor will provide ten (10) mid-size vehicles, specifically Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), for USACE personnel. These vehicles must be safe, fully operational, and include all necessary licensing, inspections, insurance, and toll stickers. Key specifications for the SUVs include:
- New or like-new condition (less than 10,000 km), Model Year 2026 or newer for the first contract year.
- 4-wheel drive, seating for five, minimum 4.0-liter engine, and an 18 U.S. gallon fuel tank.
- Minimum six-cylinder engine, off-road steel belted radial tires, fully automatic transmission, heavy-duty HVAC, driver/passenger side view mirrors, seat belts, front airbags, fire extinguisher, safety glass, Red Cross approved first aid kit, warning triangle, jumper cables, inflated spare tire, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, cruise control, and a backup camera. The contractor is responsible for all maintenance, repairs, and providing a replacement vehicle during service periods. A 24/7 breakdown/recovery service must be included. Vehicles reaching 80,000 kilometers must be replaced. Contractor personnel must be fluent in English and wear identification.
