Scope of Work

The requirement, detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW), includes providing all necessary transportation, labor, parts, tools, test equipment, and service literature for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/calibration inspections. Key aspects of the scope include:

Performing scheduled maintenance according to OEM recommended preventive maintenance/calibration intervals.
Conducting unscheduled maintenance to repair malfunctioning or inoperable equipment.
Providing on-site repair support, including all required tools, test equipment, parts, and supplies.
Utilizing only new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or factory refurbished replacement parts.
Furnishing similar equipment at no additional cost if the primary equipment needs to be removed for servicing.
Installing all software updates and equipment modifications at no additional cost. The services will be performed on the VersaTREK 240 Blood Culture System (ID# 14617) and the Nobilis 411 computer system.

Place and Period of Performance

Services will be performed at the 55th Medical Group, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 0800-1730 hours, excluding Federal holidays.

Performance Standards

Key performance metrics include maintaining a 95% monthly equipment uptime. Response times are critical: scheduled maintenance must be coordinated at least three working days in advance, and unscheduled maintenance requires arrival no later than two work days after a service request. Technicians must be trained by the OEM or a qualified school and may need to provide certification.
