Project Background & Scope
USACE requires two vertical lineshaft pumps to replace existing units at the Big Cliff Powerhouse. The pumps must meet detailed technical specifications, including:
- Outlet: 4" 150# ANSI 16.5 Flange compatible
- Flow: 75 GPM at 70ft head
- Form Factor: Vertical lineshaft with multistage impellers at inlet
- Height: 45' from inlet to centerline of outlet flange
- Lineshaft: 1" diameter, 5' sections, 400 series stainless steel, water lubricated bearings (except motor base)
- Materials: Bronze impeller, Cast Iron bowl, 400 series stainless steel column pipe
- Pumped Media: Potentially silty water, 39°-65° F, with required basket strainers at inlets
- Motors: Up to 3.0 hp, 3 phase, 480 V, 60 hz circuit, 1800 rpm or less
Response Requirements
Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to supply the specified pumps. If unable to supply all items, limitations should be clearly identified. Bidders must also provide shop drawings and applicable performance data sheets, including pump curves, for review prior to purchase. Deliveries will be to Detroit Dam, Mill City, OR, Monday-Thursday, 0700-1600. The Government will not cover shipping costs.
