Quick Summary
The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army through W7NF USPFO ACTIVITY MIANG 127, is soliciting proposals for the VGLZ 182035 REPAIR BASE PERIMETER ROAD project. This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) for the construction and repair of highways, roads, streets, bridges, and railways. Proposals are due by June 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM EDT.
Scope of Work
This project involves the repair and construction of approximately 4.2 miles of base perimeter roads, including a one-mile, three-lane section on Jefferson Ave from Main Gate to Wilbur Wright Blvd. The work encompasses full-depth pavement repairs, mill/overlay, crack repairs, and the installation of subsurface edge drainage for new pavement sections. Localized grading will address inadequate drainage, and new paint and markings will be applied. The contractor must maintain constant traffic flow during construction and will be responsible for removing and reinstalling steel wedge and jersey barriers. A Macomb County Soil Erosion Permit is required, which the contractor must obtain and adhere to. All work must strictly comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), project specifications, and drawings (Repair Perimeter Rd VGLZ 182035).
