Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Key requirements include:

• Procurement of Motorola Land Mobile Radio (LMR) equipment (repeaters, handheld radios, base stations, programming hardware).

• Procurement of related VHF/FM radio components (antennas, cables, charging systems), not necessarily Motorola.

• Provision of detailed product specification sheets.

• Maintenance agreements for Motorola equipment.

• Provision of Motorola software.

• Test equipment for LMR.

• Accurate tracking of equipment, warranties, and maintenance agreements.

• Technical support services.

Market Survey / Capability Assessment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting this market survey to identify vendors capable of supporting the migration of existing VHF/FM radio systems from 25 kHz (wideband) to 12.5 kHz (narrowband) channel spacing. This is for planning purposes and not a solicitation.

• Vendors should be capable of providing VHF/FM radio equipment, software, and associated support services.
• Detailed requirements are outlined in Appendix A of the Statement of Work (SOW).
• The FAA anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.
