Quick Summary

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), under the Department of Energy, is soliciting proposals for Vibrational Rotational Analysis Services to evaluate the mechanical condition, reliability, and performance of rotating machinery. This unrestricted opportunity requires a subcontractor to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision at Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois. The proposal due date has been extended to May 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST.

Scope of Work

The subcontractor will provide comprehensive vibration inspection and condition monitoring services for various rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, blowers, compressors, and gearboxes. Services encompass pre-inspection, three-axis vibration data collection using calibrated equipment under normal operating conditions, and detailed data analysis (spectral and time waveform) to identify issues like unbalance, misalignment, and bearing defects. Analysis will adhere to industry standards (ISO/API) and OEM specifications. Deliverables include measurement results, trend analysis, final inspection reports with condition assessments, corrective action recommendations, and invoices. Approximately 180 pieces of equipment are estimated for analysis, with monthly onsite visits expected.
