Scope of Work
The project's objective is to improve privacy, energy efficiency, and light/glare control by replacing all existing window treatments. The scope includes:
- Removal and disposal of current blinds and hardware.
- Installation of new window treatments meeting updated performance specifications.
- Specifics: Most buildings will receive 1-inch Aluminum blinds (Bright White, inside mount, cordless lift, wand tilt). Buildings 449 and 475 will receive Cellular Shades (Blue Grey/Natural Tan, inside mount, cordless).
- Locations: Work will be performed across 7 distinct project areas, encompassing approximately 739 windows in multiple billeting buildings at Volk Field ANGB.
- Contractor Responsibilities: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment; repair any damage; use own disposal bins; clean up daily; and coordinate material deliveries.
